The Orange Blossom Classic was founded in 1933 and became an annual event in 1947. Throughout its illustrious history, the OBC became recognized as the unofficial “Black National Championship” game, establishing its legacy as the most important annual sporting event and the largest annual gathering of any kind for African Americans.

The OBC isn’t just a celebration of football. The weekend of high energy, educational, cultural, and fundraising events is a celebration of One Big Community, joining together to raise scholarship funds for the participating schools for years to come.
